Stunning craftsmanship on this carved cameo. Stunning detail on hair, jewelry, clothing.
The setting is thin, yet gorgeous with inset marcasite stones to give extra sparkle.
Visible curvature on back, with a signature of the artist - not fully legible.
Stamp faintly present on back: reads 900 (?)
Vintage, pre-owned item.
Visible tarnish on silver and marcasite. Shell appears intact, carving also appears intact with minor scuffing, some natural chips due to carving process.
Clasp appears to function, pendant loop appears intact.
Overall good condition.
