Feather Mountain Nursery Pinyon Pine Cones
Pinyon pine cones are one of the most unique, adorable little pine cones. Aprox 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" in size.
Pinyon Pine Cones, or Piñon Pine Cones, have a unique knobby appearance and beautiful colors ranging from green to Rusty Red. These once contained edible pine nuts, and are native to the Southwestern United States.
Here at Feather Mountain Nursery the Blue Jays, Squirrels, and Chipmonks usually beat us to the nuts, but occasionally leave a few for us to enjoy;)
Your order will contain at least 30 hand picked pine cones. Because we pick these fresh, some may even have a few nuts and a bit of the Pinyon Pine resin on them which has a wonderful smell...perfect for placing in a bowl to enjoy their beauty and fragrance!
